Zero Server Uploads & Zero Payload Logging
When you paste or load JSON into JSONFormatter.AI, the parsing, formatting, validation, diff comparison, and AI syntax repairs are executed directly by your client’s Web browser engine. Your JSON data never touches an external server or database.
01. Information We Process
Because we use a purely client-side web architecture:
- JSON Data & Inputs: All JSON text, files, and formatted outputs remain entirely inside your browser's RAM memory and are cleared when you refresh or close the browser tab.
- User Preferences: We use HTML5
localStoragestrictly to remember non-sensitive user settings, such as theme preference (Light/Dark mode) and indent spacing choices. - No Telemetry Tracking: We do not log payload content, user API keys, passwords, or personal credentials contained inside your JSON payloads.
02. AI JSON Repair Engine & Privacy
Our AI JSON Repair module runs custom WebAssembly and JavaScript heuristics inside your web browser. If an experimental remote AI enhancement feature is invoked, data is anonymized and transmitted over encrypted TLS channels without storing any user identifiable session history.
03. Cookies and Analytics
JSONFormatter.AI does not use invasive third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. Standard anonymous website performance metrics (such as aggregated pageviews) may be processed to monitor uptime and site availability.
04. Data Security & Local Isolation
Your browser environment enforces strict Same-Origin Policy (SOP) and Content Security Policy (CSP) headers to isolate your formatted data from external websites. We recommend keeping your browser updated for maximum security.
